West Ham travel across London to face Brentford on Sunday afternoon as both sides aim to secure back-to-back Premier League wins.
The Hammers earned a home victory against Everton to follow up defeat to Tottenham, before showing a hearty and resilient display in midweek to hold Lyon to a 1-1 draw despite playing half of the match with ten men.
Sitting sixth in the table, David Moyes takes his men to the 14th-placed Bees, who are fresh from what Thomas Frank describes as maybe the biggest result in their history. A magnificent 4-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge continued their solid run of form, making it three wins from four Premier League outings to climb away from the relegation battle.
Here’s 90min’s preview of this London derby.

Long-term absentee Julian Jeanvier will remain out of contention for Frank’s side, while Josh Dasilva is eyeing a return in time for next week’s match at Watford.
Frank Onyeka is nursing an ankle injury picked up on international duty with Nigeria and will miss the next few weeks.
The Hammers are also in good shape heading into this weekend, although Manuel Lanzini may not be in line for a return to the side just yet.
Aaron Cresswell was sent off in his side’s draw with Lyon on Thursday night but should start on Sunday, while Angelo Ogbonna represents the visitors’ only certain absence.
After a gruelling Thursday night effort against Lyon, West Ham are bound to be feeling some fatigue and, coming up against a Brentford side buoyed by some good recent form and an unbelievable result last time out, the Hammers won’t be in for a peaceful Sunday.
Having said that, Moyes’ men are in a fight for European League qualification and consistency will be key if they’re going to actually achieve their ambitions. Sunday represents a massive game for them.
Prediction: Brentford 1-2 West Ham
