How to watch Premier League fixtures on TV this week

The Premier League is back after an international and FA Cup induced break, with clubs across the division preparing to show off their late transfer window signings.

18 of the division’s 20 teams are in action between Tuesday and Thursday night as a midweek round of games gets things going again, and there could be a first glimpse at the likes of Luis Diaz, Dejan Kulusevski, Donny van de Beek, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen in their new surroundings.

Chelsea and Brighton are the two teams who won’t be in action, with their fixture pulled forward to mid-January to allow Thomas Tuchel’s side to jet off and play in the Club World Cup; a reward for their success in the Champions League last May.

The standout games of the match round include Manchester City vs Brentford at the Etihad Stadium and Liverpool’s home game with Leicester.
