Harry Kane wades in on Steven Gerrard & Frank Lampard debate

Harry Kane has revealed who he would rather have played alongside between Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and Chelsea icon Frank Lampard.

The two midfielders have endlessly been pitted against each other in debates both during and after their playing careers, winning a host of club honours in their glittering heydays and breaking a host of records. They are also the last Englishmen to place on the podium for the Ballon d’Or, ranking just behind Ronaldinho in 2005.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Saturday Social show, Tottenham striker Kane was asked which of Gerrard and Lampard he would have preferred to have played alongside.

“That’s another tough question. They were both incredible players,” Kane said.

“I’m going to say Lampard. I feel like Lampard was incredible, I feel like his goals in the Premier League were truly remarkable for a midfielder.
